Bounty on the Bricks Knocks it out of the Park Again!

392 guest enjoyed a gourmet meal featuring local, seasonal foods prepared by Hocking College’s Chef Alfonso Contrisciani, live music and a cash bar featuring Jackie O’s beer and wine by the bottle Saturday, August 8th raising over $75,000 for the regional foodbank!
How Bounty on the Bricks Helps the Community
All the proceeds from Bounty on the Bricks go directly towards enhancing capacity for regional food. The Southeast Ohio Food Bank. The SE Ohio Foodbank & Kitchen, a division of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, provides access to affordable, quality food resources to those individuals, organizations, and other entities seeking to mitigate food insecurity and promote good nutrition in an efficient, eco-friendly, and sustainable way.
The Foodbank acts as a distribution center that provides an efficient operation to collect and equitably distribute government funded, donated, and purchased food to our 58 member agencies. These agencies operate programs as food pantries, hot meal sites, and other hunger-relief programs. Their service area covers ten Appalachian counties of Southeast Ohio: Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington. The Kitchen provides direct client service through programs such as Meals-on-Wheels, Congregate Dining Sites, Summer Feeding Programs, and Head Start. Click here to learn more.
