Donors of the Athens County Foundation Touch Many Lives in Athens County.
The Athens County Foundation has served the people of Athens County for over 40 years. Donors find it a rewarding and easy way to giving back to the community.
From the initial contributions of $50 each by the Foundation’s eight founding members, the assets continually grow. Over the years, the Foundation has hundreds of grants and other allocations to local non-profit and government agencies that sum up to over $3 Million dollars in grantmaking.
Our donors give back in valuable ways to the community and help continue the work of the Foundation in Athens County. Many donors can give a significant gift that will endure in perpetuity.
Donors may also give to the Athens County Foundation through wills, bequests, donor-advised funds, designated funds, organization funds, special interest funds, and scholarships. Funds may be increased at any time and can be established in the name of a relative, family, friend, or organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Athens County Foundation is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization.
